Right, Newbie here.
I'm just about to take delivery of a brand new Vectra Estate and I want to know what I can treat the wheels with to a: stop the brake dust from eching into the finish and b: to make them easy to clean.
Open to all suggestions
Thanks
Richard
I currently using AG SRP topped with AG EG. I then clean my alloys with my normal wash solution.
I have just bought a tin of AG Alloy wheel Seal. I will be testing this product in the coming weeks.

i personally use mothers alloy polish, but as long as you wash them often enough most reasonable car polishes will suffice imo
I've just put 2 coats of NXT on mine so only time will tell on how long it will last tho.

Hey Rg.........remember to keep a close eye on those allys as the warranty is ONLY 300miles or 3months :doublesho ...........the laquer on my Signum alloys is breaking up and the wheels now look like crap...........they were first told about this when the car was only 5months old..............I'm going back grrrrrr

Just bought some Poorboys Wheel Sealant. Only just applied it so can't comment on it durability but it makes the wheels look great and smooth as glass :)
Don't forget to take the wheels off and apply to the insides too if you want to keep them looking their best. Just done this myself and had to battle through layers of brake dust first!

Hi,
when i picked up my ibiza i took the wheels off washed with poorboys super slickn suds, polished them with autoglm super resin polish, sealed them with autoglym extra gloss protection and then finished them off with some turtle wax.
Gives it a lovely shiny finish and all i seem to do just now is put the hose on them and they are clean again.
I know this might seem sad but i have to finish off all my polishes first(wife and money, she sees it as a waste of money) before i move up the polish, sealant and wax leagues.:driver:

Klasse All In One topped with 2-3 coats of Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Bombproof, even for track cars. :)
