What size are your products ?
Perhaps as a cheap solutuon, look at something like a

Hama Light Studio (XL @ £25.99 ex Del) (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=101036)
or a

Collapsible Light Tent (L @ £39.99 ex Del) (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=101002)
You then just need a couple of desk lamps which you shine at the sides or rear of the box to give a nice diffused light.

Im thinking of getting a light tent for the smaller products, just need some lighting, Ive not tryed using some desk lamps mite give it ago.
And i think for my bigger products, Sofas, Chairs etc would it be better to get my shot by a "pro"

TBH - if you aren't going to change your product range very often, I would suggest that a pro might be the best solution - not just in terms of actaully taking the images, but also for the post production as well.
Where abouts are you based - I know a couple of very skilled photographers/graphic artists who might be able to help?
