I have been lucky with a few weather windows, in between the snow and rain with this effort.

As you can see, there is plenty of grit on the roads and filthy water, not good :doublesho

Just took delivery of my PC and some new products so was dying to use them :buffer:

The car was already coated in AG SRP and EGP, couple of tar spots, but had minor swirl marks.

I have been doing plently of research on here and started to look at the paint under spotlight (maglite lol). From a distance the car looked pretty mint, but I wanted so sort the defect.

The car was new in October 06, at that time I didn't have a mitt, but thought I took care of the cars. Clearly I induced some swirls.

Now I follow guides on here and 2 bucket wash with lambswool (paint) and microfibre (one wheels) mitts. Sheet water and pat dry.

Watched a how to PC dvd and that has helped, along with great advice from other members.

Anyways, enough rummle.

Process:

Soaked with Karcher on fan with Megs Nxt
Hosed down
2 bucket wash with lambswool mitt
Water sheeted
Wheels with AG clean wheels and washmitt, brush for back
Dryed by patting

No need for clay
Only a couple tar spots remove with AG ITR
Menzerna 106ff with SFX-3 blue pad,spread on 3, 3/4 passes on speed 5
Jeff's Prime Acrylic applied by white german applicator
Jeff's Jett Acrylic applied on microfibre towel
Jeff's Gloss sprayed and buffed
Megs Endurance gloss on tyres
Rain x windows
AG EGP on wheels

Interior dusted and hoovered.

This was the first time I had used the PC, so I went the lowest abrasive combo I could.

I was really surprised at what 106ff and SFX-3 pad could do. I have tried to show before and after of swirls, but halogens would be useful.

Cheers for snooping :D

Thanks Skid.
Jeff's is an absolute doddle, so easy to use and only had to squirt Glos twice to help lift Prime. Seems to bead rather well too :)

Once I get another SFX-3 pad I will apply the Prime by PC to see if it makes any difference.

Cheers,
Mark.
