Thought i would enter this since a few people have recommended i should.
Dont know if it is worthy since no proper paint correction was done but here it is.

This was my latest job to be done when the weather allowed.
The owner never cleaned his car and just wanted it clean.
So this is what greeted me:wall:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/dirt3.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/dirt1.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearfootwellbucket.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearshutleftdirt.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearshutdirt.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/consoledirt.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearbucket.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/passengerseatdirt.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/driversseatsidedirt.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/centreconsoledirt.jpg

So out cam the trusty super foam through the autobrite lance
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/PICT1824.jpg

Even after a good wash down there was some heavy traffic film to be removed.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/bumperfilm.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rooffilm.jpg
So the car got treated to an all over dose of Autosmart G101 diluted to 20:1 mix them aggitated with a soft brush.
It seamed to remove the worst of it.:thumb:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/frontbumperaftertfr.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/roofaftertfr.jpg
But the dash was wanting a good clean up to so it also got attacked with G101 diluted to 50:1 and aggitated with a soft brush.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/dashtfred.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/cantreconsoletfred.jpg

After another good wash off i checked the paint work and seen it needed a lot of clay bar attention so to save some time it got a treatment of Autosmart tar and glue remover which was instantly washed off after application as i didnt want it to dwell and damage any paint work......it was good to see how much junk it was removing, which would also save me heaps of time with the clay bar.
So it it was out with the megs mild clay bar to go over the whole body work...... removing what was left of surface contaminants.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/bonnetclay.jpg
Looking much better so it them got a 2 bucket wash using megs hyper wash after i had gone round all the inner arches and srubbed them up using a G101 mix.
Water sheeted off.
Pat dried using a PoorBoys waffle weave towel.
The car has had a respray at some point and the paint was not in perfect nick with lots of scratches and damage to the body work so as the owner wasnt fussy about correction or expensive products getting used i thought i would try out the AG SRP by PC on the body work.....might help hide some of the swirls and light scratches.
It was nice to see how well this worked and how easy it was to use on the Pc so it was time to treat it with a coat of Jeffs Acrylic trigger as gives good results and is so easy to use.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/leftsidefinished.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/foorreflections.jpg
Got some decent reflections on the roof compared to how dull the paintwork was before:thumb:
Time to tackle the inside again.
After giving the car a serious scrub using a megs interior brush and and triple side brush on the hard to reach areas it was suprisingly clean.......till i seen the left overs of some spilt glue on the rear carpet:eek:
So i test spotted an area first and found it was fine to work with using Autosmarts tar and glue remover then a quick rub with a soft nail brush, then wiped off with a damp cloth.

After :thumb:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/looknoglue.jpg
It did pull the carpet just a little bit but as mats were going to cover it i was happy with the result.
So i then gave all the seats and carpets a good wash using my Bissell carpet cleaner with Autosmart Non foaming Bio brisk.......gave good end results and removed the nasty stains and smell the car had:thumb:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/passengerseatfinished.jpg

All the windows got cleaned with Megs glass cleaner and the the trim got treated with Poorboys natural look.
Just a pity the interior plastics had deep scratches in them that i could do nothing about but still it was better than before:)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/centreconsolefinished.jpg
All the door shuts came up nice and clean
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/passengerdoorshutfinished.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearshuttopfinished.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearshutrightfinished.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v430/mrskid/rearshutfinished.jpg
I treated all the door seals with Autosmart Highshine.
Tyres dressed with Blackfire long lasting gel and exterior plastics with poorboys trim restorer.
It was hard graft but i was happy with the end results and the owner has now promised to not use the car as a mobile wheelie bin any more.

Brilliant, how do some people get their cars in such a state and worse still they even get in it and drive.

All that rubish inside the car, no excuse IMHO.

Good turnaround though, I bet the owner didnt recognise it.

Very very nice! And IMO you don't need to do paint correction to win a Competition on here.

Funnily enough I have just done exactly the same thing on a Peugeot 307 this weekend that was in a similar distgusting state.

I will post a thread up soon!

Cheers,

Steve.

Looks like a "New" car once again.
At least the owner has promised to keep it in better condition now that it is all clean and shiny.

Good luck with the entry Steve.
