The Detailing World Monthly Detail Competition

The Detailing World Monthly Detail competition is area for people to show off their detailing skills. The competition is open to all detailing world members.

The entries will be judged by the moderators, forum sponsors and a guest member each month.

The competition can involve any part of a car be it engine/interior/exterior etc.

If you did a complete detail, you can submit the whole car.

The rules

NO USE OF PHOTOSHOP OR SIMILER PACKAGES TO GAIN AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. ITS ONE THING CORRECTING A COLOUR BALANCE, ITS ANOTHER ADJUSTING THE CONTRAST TO IMPROVE THE REFLECTION.

1. Sorry but no pro detailers, moderators or forum sponsors can enter
2. Before & after shots must be from same angle and in the same light
3. Full product/process description required
4. Whilst this is not a photographic competition, it will help if all pictures are sharp, focused and well exposed.
5. One entry per contestant per month only (multiple entries will be deleted).
6. Previous winners must wait 2 months before re entering.
7. All pictures should be added at the same time.
8. Take pictures of all detailed areas (tire/wheels, glass, trim, interior, etc.)
9. Extra points will be awarded for tree refections
10. The judges will take their duties very seriously and deliberate, cogitate, argue, discuss - normally over a good bottle of red wine. Given this effort the judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence can be entered into.

All entries to be received by the end of each month so that judging can commence the first week of the next month.
