Clay Bar...how often?

I clayed mine in Summer and now can feel very slight surface contaminants. How often should i clay my motor?

I think it's every 6 months. Like before summer and before winter.

I might be wrong though and I suppose it depends how aggressive the clay is?

Once a year on my car in the spring but it is nearly always garaged. As often as needed other wise.

best way to tell is to pick up a small plastic bag from the fruit section of a supermarket, put it over your hand then glide it over your paint, you'll know straight away if you need to or not
