Decided to put tis in the competition, even though its only my 2nd time using a PC.

Having sold my Ibiza late last year to buy a bigger car due to expecting our first child, Up to now i havent had chance to use my PC on her due to the poor weather and just not having the time, So this is my 2nd detail and i think it went rather well...

The car was bought as an ex-fleet car with 80k on the clock, the paint looked like it had never been washed and only seen car washes and brushes, swirls all over and various straight scratches and marks.

Wheels and arches

Decided to start off with the wheels and arches, the wheels are prone to laquer damage and will hopefully getting a refurb later this year.

All cleaned with Megs all purpose cleaner 10:1 and a bit of Gold class shampoo as well, Tyres dressed with Megs Endurance tyre Gel, Arches dressed with Autoglym Bumper care, and wheels treated to two coats of Poorboys EX-P sealant and two coats of Nattys blue paste wax.

EDIT: forgot to say, i painted the calipers in hammerite silver aswell,

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/sisson16v/139_3972.jpg

A test patch was done on the door, firstly using Poorboys SSR2.5 on a 4" Sonus pad which removed a few swirls but wasnt what i was hoping for. Decided to up the strength and go for Menzerna IP on the same pad, this did the trick great and removed 95% of defects

The blackeyes are an easy mod ronnie,

Take the lights out, heat the glue up and then prise the glass off, mask off the surround and spray away, then put back together.

Theres a guide on the mondeo enthusiasts forum
