Dunc, Keeper, BLR....

I got mine today-thankyou autobrite!

Had to whack the handle on using supplied alan key. Comes with a pad and a wooly polishing dubbery thingy and a sponge

Having used a Rotary before and been shown by bodyshop people at a Ferrari garage how to use one I was confident with it straight away. It has 6 speed settings and also comes with a velcro backing plate for using other pads :)

I gave it a whirl before the sun went down tonight, first impressions are that it is a very good little machine-especially for the money. The speed setting is variable and the built quality good. The supplied polishing pad is also good too...

Having watched some of the Rotary video lessons from Meguairs I found some of their tips helpful-and funnily enough EXACTLY the same as the tips I was given by an expert a few years back.

However, these things are dangerous in the wrong hands....so be careful with it and experiment on a ****-box first if you can as you can do more harm than good.

One level 2 (out of six I think) I have managed to remove most swirls/scratches from my paint :) already with little work!
If I could criticise one thing about it, it would be that it is slightly heavier than one I used a while ago....which when doing doors can wear your arms out

Other than that, it gets my vote!

I've just cleaned the paint on the front 1/4 of the car using Meguairs paint cleaner and wiped clean with a polishing cloth. Tommorow I will whack some Gold Class or NXT on there to finish it off (and obviously do the rest of the car!)

I've just got one of these. Use to use rotary polishers years ago, so thought I'd get myself one.

It is spot on for the price! I gave it a whirl this afternoon on my polo van runabout with some #83. Its got a nice weight and is well balanced to me anyway. Does the job!
