Good evening to you all. Todays car was a beautiful BMW in need of some TLC. I was faced with overspray inside and out and a pair of scratches that an attempted repair had gone wrong (NOT me!). Wet and dry sand paper:doublesho

The overspray looked like this externally

After a wash with the usual Swissvax contenders (car bath, wheel cleaner), the overspray was tackled with paint rubber and quick finish. The overspray was reduced to this

Not perfect but much improved. More paint rubbing followed until I was happy.
Regarding the wet and dry damage I had the agreement of the owner to give the Menzerna products a go. I used intensive polish followed by final finish. The wet and dry damage was much reduced. The scratches were still evident but nowhere near as obvious.

This picture is after cleaner fluid (normal strength) and application and buffing off of wax

Much better! The rest of the car was cleaned with cleaner fluid.
The wax I decided upon for today was "Mystery". The customer wanted Best of Show but I thought I'd give him 1 better:thumb: The mystery proved to be hard work. It went on very easily indeed. I left it on the car then had lunch...could this have been my undoing? Upon my return I cleaned and waxed the wheels, the turned my attention to buffing off the mystery.
It was very hard to get the wax to buff up to a (for want of a better expression) streak/smear free finish. There was no doubting the depth of shine once I got to that point but boy was it hard work:wall:
The interior was hoovered and seats cleaned with Swissvax leather cleaner and milk. Plastics had plastic wash and protecton.
Tyres were dressed with pneu and the afters are as follows
