Good engine cleaner

well, new engine arrives tomorow, which means over next week or 2 ill be fully cleaning it up and paintin it before it goes into the car :D whats a good, quite strong product for gettin the worst of the dirt/oil/general crap off the engine so its sparkling again for me to paint? :D :cool:

I've used both AG Engine & Machine Cleaner and Megs Safe D-Greaser in the past with excellent results.

The Megs product goes allot further as you can dilute either 4:1 or 10:1 depending on how strong you need it. :thumb:

We use pressure washers on our mini engines and gearboxes in conjunction with a good degreaser............

Megs Super Degreaser 10:1, using a foaming spray head and Radiator brush,to get in those nook and cranies :) works well.

Remember to cover electrical parts with a polythene bag, cling film or similar before hosing down.:thumb:

hmm... think strong APC would be sufficent enough with some good elbow grease? as ill be ordering some APC anyway, be handy if thatd work alright lol
