Excellent idea,
I think Rich has something coming but I can imagine it's been a busy time for him what with opening the shop and being sponsor for Fast and Modified.

Still not heard from Jim - will phone him tomorrow. Looked on Mark IV's forum, their rolling road day thread petered out weeks ago, so I may just suggest we have our own day on the 18th. Will a few of you be prepared to go on the rollers for £20 a shot to make it worthwhile for Jim to host us? I will for sure, but we need about 10-15 to make him happy (going to ask folks on Seat Enthusiasts, ScoobyNet, Briskoda, etc, as well). :)

You might be OK for the BHP hike as they specialise in VW although I'd give him a call first to see if there is anything you need.

Also, they definately did 4 wheel drive when they were in Glenrothes so I'd expect they would keep that the same possibly even use the same kit that was in Glenrothes :thumb:

The 19th might be a problem for me though as you can see from the link: -

Got this from the Star site.

Star Performance offer a "Rolling Road Shootout" service to clubs wishing to stage one of these popular events. This is a great chance for your club to get together for an event to see who really can "walk their talk" when it comes to how powerful their car is. We have also hosted inter-club shoot-outs where the friendly rivalry between clubs can be out ot the test.
The shoot-outs are typically hosted on a Sunday with preferably 12 to 16 cars to attend for the event to be worthwhile for your members. Cost varies according to the type of car (4x4's and turbo cars can be more expensive), and number of cars on the day but is usually around £20 each. Each vehicle will receive a colour plot to show Power, Torque and Boost (where applicable).

CLICK HERE TO BOOK A ROLLING ROAD SHOOTOUT AT STAR PERFORMANCE

Bookings will be confirmed by email or telephone - please allow 2- 3 days or telephone us on 01592 655595 for an immediate booking.
