We've got 'just' 9 or 10 Vectra's showing tomorrow morning Brazo.

Should be a good day.

4 PC's
2 Rotarys and a car to rotary.
More clay than wedgewood.
2 Karchers.

Hot food & drink.

Fingers crossed, it should be a good one:thumb:

That's my Laser thermometer. I don't fire up the Metabo without it.

Going to scare Brl123 with the Metabo tomorrow:lol:

Should give me chance to add some more Vectra DFT's to my paint thickness database. Will all the different colours be the same factory thickness?

Big kudos to Andy, for getting this day off the ground.

Oh my good god. How on earth am I going to sleep tonight after seeing that lot. Kid...........candy store. That's a huge effort you have gone to for us vectra-c guys. I think I will be vastly more educated in all things car care by this time tomorrow. Must go and empty my brain of all unneccesary clutter to make space to absorb detailing wisdom. :D :buffer: :thumb:

Wow Steve you have pulled all the stops out:doublesho , I amazed you have cleared the shop. it was absolutley packed the last time i was up, 8 weeks ago.

Hey guys dont worry about being hungry.

Sam has been making home made sausage rolls all afternoon.,

We went to Tescos earlier and bought the entire stock of Bacon & Bread rolls, and Red/brown/spicy sacue. then it was on to the camping store where we bought a lot of gas and a stove. A good mate lent me another two stoves.

My Pug is now packed with two karchers, PC, Hose, Transformer, 110v Lead, 240v Lead, Brinkman Torch, Canon Pro 1 digi Camera, tripod, 3 Stoves, enough gas to make a big bang!!! Enough tins of soup to feed a small army . 2 trays of double yolk eggs, My box of Detialing Products/polishes. Bacon, Rolls and eggs will be added in the morning.

I think there might just be enough room for me and Sam to get in
i hope it moves come morning.:driver:

Here's to a fantastic day, Sam & I are supporting Steve in getting this to be one of the detialing days to remember :thumb: :buffer:.

See ya Tmrw mate

Regards
Ant & Sam

Real shame you couldn't make it Duncan, was looking forward to meeting you. With Basil having to withdraw as well I had better pay attention on behalf of the Ultra Blue brigade.

Well pte was snapping away merrily with his camera so left him to it. I think he will have got everything covered. The main work was done on robbieben's Black Signum bonnet but talking to Steve the same steps would be employed on the Ultra Blue.

Cracking day lads really enjoyed it.

Sam is thrilled at the comments for her Sausage Rolls, and catering skills.
and a BIG Thankyou has to go to Julie to for helping with the catering to:thumb: . (Sam's recipie for the Sausage rolls will follow shortly on this thread.)

I have downloaded the photos, will foward them on to Steve, Its only fair, Steve's Day not mine. There are one or two good ones in there.

Steve, we are only too happy to help anytime. Sam has thoughly enjoyed today, and is on a little high at the moment. Rareing to go again, armed with her stove and frying pan, oh and a box of Sausage Rolls:thumb: or 2:thumb: .Just give us the nod, :thumb:

If Julie is free on the next day Sam would love her, to be her accomplis again:) not to mention any other girlies who want to join in. (ps we are soon to be grandparents, me a step grandad:thumb: )

Sign off now, A Day to remember with a great bunch of guys from Vectra-C. Great to see Tommy, Lee & Aidy, again. Great to meet up with Brian, once again Sam really enjoyed meeting you. not forgetting Julie, a wonderful girlie, a pleasure to meet you hope we see you again.

My biggest thank you goes to Steve, (you know why mate:thumb: ) a truly wonderful person we are truly proud to have as a friend, yet regard you as family rather than a friend.
