These are all a bit out of date, and some will have seen some of these before. Having to put it all into storage for winter while the new 'toy box' is built.

Whats the orange thing with the cable and what kind is the polisher in the last pic?

The orange thing with the cable?

An elcometer dry film thickness guage. Measures how thick your paint is before / during and after a good polishing session. Using this and a digital IR thermometer to ensure no polishing through or burning whilst using the Metabo PE12-175 rotary. (the second polisher pic)

It's still only guess work with the elcometer, as there is no way of knowing how thick the different layers of paint / cleracoat are, only the total thickness.

How do you rate the mirror glaze and yellow wax? Do you apply the mirror glaze after waxing?
