I mentioned this a while ago but been trying to sort a few things out, the provisional date for this is 1st July, who’s interested?
Would like to make the most of the meet and raise a bit of money for Wizzers charity Sebastian's Action Trust and The County Air Ambulance Trust.
Any ideas on how to raise some money will be gratefully received.
I do have a couple of ideas,
1) Bring products you don’t use or can spare to be raffled off.
2) For a donation to charity you can wash your car using either my Gilmour or AB Foam lance using a wash product you are considering buying, for instance if you have a Gilmour at home and want to know if Shampoo Plus will foam well through the Gilmour you can try it for yourself before you buy.
3) Sell bacon butties, Hot dogs and burgers with all profits going to charity.
I have a demo car lined up which is a Jaguar S Type which I shall prep on the Saturday ready to be machine polished on the Sunday.
Would be nice if I could have a couple of rotary experts to help, as I’m not :o
The unit I’ve borrowed isn’t far from the motorway and has plenty of parking, more importantly it has 2 taps near the shutter which will be ideal, one for the hose and Gilmour and the other will have the pressure washer attached and there is a kitchen area and toilets. There is also room for another car if there are enough detailing gurus able to help.
I'd also like to invite a few members from the Jaguar forum my friend (who owns the unit) belongs to and a few members from the Nottingham branch of the Westfield Sports Car Club (I need to get a few of them to clean their cars rather than just thrashing them around :D )
