View Full Version : Decent polishes / waxes in Cambridge?
I live near Cambridge, and can't find anywhere with a decent range of polishes and waxes. I've tried the local Auto Factors, Halfords, and Carnoisseur.
I'd ideally like a decent wax for dark paintwork, for ~£15 - something like Natty'sm or CG XXX.
Is there anywhere local I can buy stuff like this?
Thanks :)

I've never managed to find anything in or around Cambridge either. The best the high street shops seem to have is AG, Megs Consumer or Turtle Wax Platinum (which I've never used but heard is actually quite good).
3M are supposed to do a very good range of polishes but never found anywhere to source them from.
Your best bet is to buy online.
If you want OTC stuff, then either AG SRP + EGP or Megs DC#1 and NXT Tech Wax.

To be honest, if you want the decent stuff (and I'm not saying that AG or Megs isn't, but you know what I mean) then you'll have to get it mail order from the traders here.

there is a motor shop near newmarket market that advertises itself as a megs retailer - not sure about their selection though as i've never been inside.
you'll never get the selection of the online stores though.
