182_blue, look at the address bar and infront of the http:// bit you see an icon thats a favicon dw is still using the vbulletin default one just thought it might look better with a persoanlised one.

only works in proper browsers though, not t'internet explorer

Internet Explorer does support favicons it's just a git to get them to show. I think if you remove it from your favourites and then add it again it will show.

Firefox just displays them instantly which is how it should work. I don't know why this has never been sorted in IE. Also firefox will support any image file not just the .ico that IE supports. You can have a nice animated .gif for firefox users and a .ico for IE users.

Use this code between the {HEAD} and {TITLE} tags replacing the {} with <>.

Here's one, rename it to favicon.ico and drop it in the root.
