Almost didn't reach this detail due to flooding lol.
The Car
A 2005 Arctic blue clio. Last detailed a year ago by my kosovan friend Rich who passed this to me given his own extensive FCS prep!!! Since its last detail it has been well maintained by the current owner and swirlage was at best minimal.
Paintwork Evaluation
As said above swirling was minimal, paint thickness was a good 150 microns all over - pretty average readings for RS Renault Clio paintwork. The Dieppe spray booths obviously pump out that little bit extra!!! That said the rotary was able to knock back the old OP a little bit. Hard renault paint did need a megs polishing pad and intensive polish (worked well!) at 2000rpm, dropping back to 1500 and 1200 for finishing to an LSP ready finish.
Before shot - swirling was there but camera struggled to pic it up!!
