Guys tried to search but did not come back with much.

I have a set of Vauxhall SRi -T wheels on my car, I cleaned it on sturday and the surface felt dull and slightly pittered, There was tar and baked on brake dust.

I very rarley use acid based cleaners on the them and do polish them regular
basis.

I manged to get them clean so i tried to polish them with a single layer ex-p but they still felt ruff.

Do you think i would be ok claying the wheels then could get away with using PC with 4" pad and SSr2.5 and work up or menz IP?

Claying wheels is no problem, in fact I often use used clay that I wouldn't really want to use on paint any more.
Don't know what your wheels look like but I would imagine that trying to get a 4" pad into all the bits & pieces would be difficult, no problem using a PC on wheel paint, just don't think it's practical.

I would wash, clay, polish, seal, wax - just like any other paintwork.
Seems like you just washed and sealed.

Well, just a quick update.

Yesterday i cleaned the wheels with strong washing up liquid and then clayed the wheels.

What a difference! All marks and rough feel went and the wheels looked like new after a quick coat of ex-p and wax they did look like new.
