Right guys......I'll try and get the ball rolling on this one. I work in ketton, nr Stamford, Lincs. I have been given a principle green light from my site manager to use one of the works car parks for a weekend meet. This is depending on numbers, ie cars, people ect for insurance purpose's. I have been told there is water/electric supply, but will go and have a look tonight and organise something if not. I have pm'd a couple of 'professional' detailers to see if they would be willing to lend a hand, If i've missed anyone out that would be willing to help with technique's/products etc, i apologise, and just ask to get in touch and let me know. I had hoped to get a couple of more experienced detailers together, one to do rotary work, one to do PC, and poss merge to look at wet sanding if we had the time. The car park is big enough to hold everyone, but we only have shelter for approx 8 cars max, and there may be 2/3 cars parked for the weekend shift, but i could ask for them to park elsewhere for the day. So first i need to know who would be interested in coming, and what would you like to cover, ie rotory/PC etc.
This meet is welcome to everyone, not just the east members, so MINI ONE CABRIO & AR-COOLC, you are most welcome to join us. Please let me know if you plan to bring a car, and any passengers, like i said i need to let my manager know total numbers of cars/people ect. I ideally would have liked to sort a venue out in King's Lynn/ Thetford, it's abit more central for everyone, so if anybody has any suggestions/contacts we could use i'm more that willing to listen to other offers. So over to you guys.....:)
