Decided to clean inside winscreen....

With methylated spirit tonight. The dirt caked on the kitchen towel was unreal, but it hadn't been cleaned for a few months anyway :o

I finished off with AG Fastglass, but here is the result after doing about a 5th of the windscreen with just the methylated spirit

I just use a damp mf on my windows every week, thats all they need to be kept clean if you stay on top of it :thumb:

I'm surprised you could see out!
I'm pretty sure my windows are clean but I might just try some IPA or meths, just to see if anything comes off.

worst ones are the cars that get smoked in, the mf literally sometimes gets stuck to the windscreen when cleaning them :wall:

I never noticed til the other week, the sun was low and the screen was rather hazy, so thought it time to bring out the meths.

I'm surprised I could see out too, well apart from in low sun.

I've had situations where I've replaced a door glass or windscreen in a car where the owner is a heavy smoker, and got had complaints that I've fitted the wrong colour glass, they soon realise when I clean the other windows.

But like you say, it always makes you think eeewwww.
