How many of you knew that Aston Martin has been using Zymöl and Zymöl Field Glaze in their factories since 2007?

Aston Martin is known to be extremely proud of there paint finishes. Quote [our paints are] "one of the finest paint finishes in the world" - D Stansford at Aston Martin.

Aston Martin approached and evaluated Zymöl products for application to the Aston Martin's high-quality finishes at the end of 2007. Barely six months after initial contact, Aston Martin and Zymöl put together the final details of the agreement which bought Zymöl's products to the Aston Martin production line, to be used in the final preparation of all of its cars and have never looked back since.

Field Glaze is perfect for those times when your car needs a quick complete waxing or touch-up to remove fingerprints and road debris.

If you want to see unfinished you should check out the factory finish of Ferrari or Zanasi. Awesome paint but unfinished it normally has sanding marks, de-nib marks, you name it. Which is good for me, keeps me busy :thumb:

Ferrari expects the dealerships to correct the paintwork before giving to the clients. Here in Switzerland the dealerships don't even bother. Just wash it and slap on a spray wax and hand it over.

On the other hand I find brand new Astons to be in good condition. But that is just my humble opinion.

Iirc Koenigsegg have won award for their paint. Only time it was called into question was that spoilt brat stamped his feet to get a car and all they had was the show car or something like that.
