Just got some Clearkote Moose Wax with my Polished Bliss order and i'm wondering if i used this on my alloys could i top it with my Poorboys Wheel Sealant?
I was originally going to use up my SRP and top it with the PB WS but thought i'd give this stuff a try first if the combo is suitable!

The only problem using a wax on your wheels is that these types of waxes are not made to withstand extreme heat ,thus not lasting much. The poorbots wheel sealant will withstand heat

Was hoping the PB WS would protect any underlying product! :(

Have a look at this thread of the rim wax i sell
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/showthread.php?t=3835
The rim wax has been on for 2 weeks and the wheel cleaner doesnt need any agitation with a brush ,i have also tried various waxes but they dont seem to last due to the heat off the whhels

I'm now using the rimwax that David sells.
I have about 3 applications on my wheels and they have not been topped up for over a week. Put some wheel brightner on the other night and washed off with a spray nossle on the hose. Wheels were clean without any rubbing!!:thumb:

Its made to withstand the heat from the wheels thats why it will last longer than normal waxes

I also noticed the water was still beading on the wheels. :thumb:

The Clearkote original Moose Wax (the pinky one) does not contain any carnauba, so will be fine under the Wheel Sealant.
Cheers.

No problem donnyboy! :)
I'm not buying anything else as i've just spent a fortune on various cleaning stuff so what i have now will have to do!!
SP - aye mine says it lays down an initial layer of carnauba.
Probably go with SRP - PB WS and that'll have to do for now!! :)

Interesting... I'll have a look on one of my old bottles and see what Clearkote say.
Cheers.
