View Full Version : BMW M3 Detail

Today we detailed this BMW M3, it was in very good shape already and the owner just wanted that little extra shine;) so here goes:

Wheels:
The first job on a detail for us is always the wheels they Where cleaned with P21s, EZ detail brush, swissol wheel brush and a MF mit, tail pipes cleaned with WW and P21s

Next the car wash Lower half and door shuts etc treated with citrus tfr then foamed with snow foam maxi suds mix, washed TBM and dried (sorry no pics) then we set about detailing the engine bay with and claying the paint work using sonus green and megs last touch:

As for polishing work the car was quite good already so i gave it a polish via rotary polisher and Mark V finishing polish on a megs polishing pad, for the odd few heavier scratches i used the IP 3.02.

Now the paint work was treated with HD cleanse then coated with 2 coats of Z Destiny by hand, wheels where sealed with Jetseal and tyres with CG new look gel, interior was cleaned and leather treated with Glipton cream, glass cleaned in/out and the tail pipe tips polished with autosol,

Wow silver is usually a difficult color to give that nice wet look to but the vehicle looks incredable. Nice depth, nice reflection...very nice detail.

Thank you for sharing...oh by the way the interior looks nice, like those seats.

That is a beautiful wet and reflective finish - you certainly have given it that added shine factor :cool:

Oh I totally agree with you about the prep but I haven't tried Destiny just yet, I've tried Concourse and Glasur and really like them both...next up is Destiny :thumb:

yep i must admit i was not totaly convinced with the Destiny when i first got it, but it is silver cars i find it stands apart from others, the flake and shine is unreal for silver, also durability and beading is great,
