Hi there,
Are there many detailing enthusiasts down in Cornwall?
I've recently bought a PC and was wondering if anyone down this way could offer some advice on it's use (there's beer in it for you :) )
Thanks very much,
Ross

Perfect, I'm in Helston!
How are you with the old PC?
I'm currently looking on ebay for some compound... can't decide between Megs #83 or some SSR2/2.5, anyone got any recommendations?
I've got Scratch-X and some 3M Finesse-It at home to finish off the polish... would I still need some SSR1/Megs #80?

Yeah, I was after the UDM, but got bored of waiting and lack of definite release date.
Would be great if you could come over to give me some pointers!
Not sure when this weather's going to break... Friday's supposed to be ok, and Sat rubbish again! And, unfortunately garage is too full of other junk to go in there.

Yeah, I tried to send you a PM a min ago and realised I need to post another 4 messages (3 after this one ;) ).
I've got a gold Pug 306 with some major scratches that I'm using as a test car (I really need to get some old panels, but I can't get out to scrap yards this week), then I want to move on to my black mondeo after I've got the hang of it (too expensive to test on ;) ).
Do you detail professionally, or just your own car?

Yes not long started up and going pretty well.....it will be good to meet someone else from down here as I think there are only a few registered enthusiasts on the forum down this way!!!

Any good shops down here for getting supplies?
Mill Autos has an alright selection, but none of the more specialist things, from what I've seen.

Well you never guess what..................................I also sell products :thumb: :D Just in the midst of getting brochures done by Cornwall College but I can bring along a selection for you to try out and can recommend others.
I am not sure there are any places down here (yet ;)that hold more specialist items, shopwise anyway. Just Halfords and Motorworld etc etc. Oh and did find a place that sells trade Shampoos etc on an Industrial Estate.

You sell them?
That'll save on postage :)
I'll hold off on my ebay purchases in that case!
Currently trying to build up a nice little selection of thingies, mostly Megs and AG at the moment, but open to any others!
