This beastie belongs to the wife of the blue Lotus Exige owner I did last week. It seems this lady has to wash both cars, so its only fair her Rangey got done too!

I was hoping I would get away without any rain that day, but unfortunately I got caught with some quite persistant showers in the afternoon. I'm glad I had the awning with me although putting it up on a fairly steep driveway was a laugh!

Kept pretty clean, this is what I had at the start:

Foamed, then washed with TBM (it took ages!), clayed with Sonus Green before finally rinsing and drying. Taped up as usual.

This was pretty typical of the marks all over:

I was expecting this paint to be really hard, but all it took was Menz PO85RD Final Finish on a Megs polishing pad with the rotary to achieve this:

I continued:

The rain came, the photo's got forgotten. I was getting tired by this point and just wanted to get finished!

The finished article, covered in Collinite 476s. I don't think the pics do it justice, it looked really wet and reflective.

Looks sexy as hell dude. Doing a car like that in one day is good going mate. Did you do the roof too?

I did, and it hurt! I knew they were big, but just didn't realise how big. Just the bonnet was like a roof on a medium sized hatch back.

Just shy of 13 hours start to finish.

You did well in that time dude. I guess being able to use just one hit with menz 85 helped. Did you have to bust out the step ladder?

I love those, looks very good as well. Is that your gazebo? If it is, how much was it and what are the dimensions?

It is mine, it is 3mx6m and cost £700.

V12 - It was hard work getting it done, just got back from a couple of days away detailing (pics to follow another day!), did a Discovery 3 inside and out yesterday in 14 hours. Had to get it done in the day because I had the husbands car to do today.
