I had the same problem with my old Karcher and it turn out it needed a refurb.
I was lucky as it was under warrenty so just one call to the Karcher help line and all I had to do was take it to HSS Hire who are one of the official repair companies.
Apparently if water gets lodged in the unit and then freezes in the cold it causes some of the seals to break.

Hi Steve,
Georgy from AOC!
TBH if its out of warrenty we're in a throw away society now so might just be best to get a new one from lidl/aldi! They're the same as the Karchers just without the branding!

hello mate:wave:
i took it to be repaired and they said it would be £20 just to tell me what was wrong, so i let them look, they rang back 4 days later told me it would cost £129 + the £20 + vat:speechles i only paid £79 for it so didn't bother they told me what bit was failing so i got the part from e-spares.com for £15 fitted and its been fine ever since:thumb:
