Sonus Ultra fine claybar..

I have just opened my Sonus ultra fine claybar (green in colour) tonight to use it for the first time..

It is by far the best claybar I have ever used. It lifts tar of in one sweep and it is really easily shaped in the palm of you hand.

Out off 10 it scores 10.

Other claybars I have used with my marks out of 10:

3M - 5/10 (too hard, I think its use is more for overspray)

Swissol - 7/10 (much better than 3M)

Megs - 3/10 (Might as well have used a bar off soap):eek:

What does everyone else use?

Does anyone agree or disagree???

well thats probably the best news ive read all evening as ive just bought one from Serious performances ebay shop lol. I saw it and thought i needed a new claybar so took the plunge without any reviews :)

I'll buy you a beer if we ever meet up mate as i feel like a really smug barsteward now lol

I was chuffed to bits with it. It was sitting in its wee box for 6 months!

Wow. A totally different experience to mine.
I found the sonus clay to be way too gentle to be effective, multiple passes required to lift tar. I was so brassed off with it I got my Swissol bar to take tar spots off. I'm not talking about caked on stuff either.

I found the green fine clay very good too, although not for too rough a surface, I did my whole roof with the Sonus green fine clay and it worked very well but it wasn't that rough, I have Swissol clay too which I use for rougher spots.

It just shows what a difference a clean car can make...

The sonus bar worked out perfecly for me... The swissol bar being the second best.

BTW I used a large bucket of warm water with a little soap in it to help the clay glide. It made things easier with such cold temps ATM.

I too have had one sat in my goody box for the last few months, just need to find time to use it.:(

From what I understand, it is designed for those who feel they must clay more than 2-3 times a year, so by its nature its not "too" aggressive".

Yup, but I was surprised how gentle it was.

I've got some Sonus SFX Green clay to try...will be using it this afternoon if the weather stays nice! I'll let you know how i get on :)

Anyone know of a similar clay to Swissol but cheaper?
