Nokia E65 problem - anyone help?

Hi folks.

I'm on my 2nd Nokia E65 and after a little brain-fart the other day, none of it's keys are working. The only button that does anything is the power key, so the keys below the display, the numerical keypad and the side buttons all do nowt.

Although the phone is under warranty I would like to clear off the data that's in the phone memory. And here's my prob.

With the keys all useless I can't get the phone to accept my cable connection to my laptop. I connect the USB cable and the phone says 'accept connection?' or something and of course the button for 'yes' does nothing. Frustrating or what?

Does anyone know of / have any software or widget that would give me remote control of my phone via a USB cable, I'd be dead grateful.

A long shot I know but you guys seem to know something about everything....

have a google for "e65 hard reset"...

there's a few ways to reset your phone, but most involve key input.....

but if your phone is crashing when it starts up rather than the keypad not working, you might be ok.....

is the e65 the 'sliding' phone?

I've had this phone. :( had to get o2 to replace it 4 times, due to the same problem, they finaly had enough and let me have a N95, as a free upgrade 1/2 way into an 18 month contract.

I know thats not any help to get the info off it... but all i had with that phone was trouble.
