Have to be iPhone for me Mike.
I currently have the original one and it's the best phone i've had...ever! It has it's minor niggles, like no MMS etc, but i've not needed to use it! The only problem that does pi55 me off is Safari, as it'll randomly take you back to the home screen, but i find it does it most when i'm browsing DW's showroom/studio threads.
I'm getting the 3G iPhone, but not straight away. I want to see what software 2.0 has to bring, and also i'm waiting for the 32GB version in white :thumb:

Good question and one I'm facing. My current thoughts are:
Want a sexy gadget with Ipod and nice touchscreen ? Not too worried about camera quality.........then Iphone....
Want a good phone with decent camera first and not worried about touchscreen and like idea of tv on the move (not sure how well that will work)...... Get N96.
I suspect you may also be able to get N96 on 12 month contracts which also appeals to me as I don't like 18 monthers unless there's a serious incentive.
I'm sure there are other pros/cons but that's how I see it right now.

Isn't unlimited wifi and 3G data an incentive? ;)

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but will the email package on the iPhone work just like a Blackberry, i.e., just input the email address and it will automatically receive mails sent to that address ?

Yep.
I wouldn't go for an N95 tbh, its been out ages now, and with the N96 imminent, it would be a bad move.
I have sold my iPhone, and am enjoying texting on a 'normal' phone again - iPhone was always a pain for me, but then I do send LOTS.
Go and have a play with one and see if you can get on without physical keys - its quite a big move to make, particularly if you text lots.
Otherwise, its a great phone, and I would recommend one. I don't know yet if I'll get the new one on Friday.

Do you carry an SLR round at all times though?
Unlimited 3g i'll end up getting most of the time via work blackberry and the wifi on n96 will be as good when most places anyway I would've thought. Lack of physical keys and size (although not much bigger) of iphone also put me off a bit. Can't decide for sure tho!!!

The software keyboard is fantastic - it's really clever and you get to type pretty quick after about a week or so.
The N96 might have wifi, but i wouldn't imagine it's be as good, as it'll probably have Nokia's own browser, or a cut down version of Opera. The iPhone has a FULL Safari web browser, so all sites load as they do on your PC (except ones with flash atm).

I'm tempted by the iphone, especially as my bro reckons he can get me 30% off a tarriff....but the camera is putting me off, I often use it when out and about.
