My Brother-in-law was down this weekend from London so he let us loose on his 911 Turbo (2008 model). Awesome fun doing a car like this and he was very happy with the results which makes all the effort worth it. It was a bit of a rushed job as he dropped it off just before 1pm Saturday and we both had to be elsewhere just after 3 so we took that time to wash it, clay it, wash it again then get it inside and prep it. We then started (very) early on Sunday as we needed to be finished by lunch time.
How it was dropped off
Under the lighting showing up the swirls (these were really visible in daylight too)
Ready to go Sunday morning
Work in progress
The finished car
Not perfect but we were happy with the result considering it was a rushed job!
We did a two stage polish on the main panels with the Rupes 15 MKII and a single stage on the smaller or curved sections with the Rupes Nano. We finished it with Soft99 King of Gloss wax.
