Spray lance

Hi peeps want some recommendations on a karcher gun lance. I want the lance to be a wide angle stream one that I can attach to my factory gun. Cheers

Something like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Karcher-K-...item84d1b58f82 or this

Here is what I am using, I got this from Pressure Washer Parts UK ( ebay store ) a while back I believe from memory it was only around 13-15. Its a big improvement over the standard adjustable lance which I hated. Im planning on upgrading again to Q Washers stainless premium full gun and lance set up which you might want to look into, its very nice but also pretty pricey.

Thanks any linky on the Qwashers?

They don't actually have it up on their ebay store yet so you need to call or email them direct to order.

Here is a link to their demo video of the set up.

The price I got from them was 145 delivered and then an extra 12 if you need the Karcher Adapter

Mark, you may already be aware but if you swap the Karcher fitting for one of these you can use it on your new gun (if you want to, given you'll have the shiny Suttner item ;))

I hadn't thought of that :thumb: Although I will be keeping the original lance and gun, I have a few family members who like to wash their car occasionally and I don't fancy letting them use my 150 lance to throw about :doublesho. So the good old plastic Karcher gun will do them just fine, plus its always there to use as a spare.

Ah yes you're right, it makes much more sense to keep it for use with your original gun.

Don't feel the need to baby your 150 lance too much. It's high end pro gear, it can take the knocks ;)

Yeah I'm sure it would be fine but it will be for my use only

Saying that I haven't even ordered it yet ! Don't know why I'm procrastinating, need to get it done !

Have you got yours yet ? Did you go for the blue or black handle ? I saw Robs with the black handle on another thread it looks really nice :thumb:

Heh, mine is a bit of a mongrel of a setup:

Kranzle M2000 standard gun, adapted to 19.5mm inlet quick release and Kew outlet quick release
MTM Hydro "Astra" wash gun adapted to same connections as above

Standard Kranzle flat jet, Dirtkiller and underbody lances adapted to Kew quick release
Pressure Washer Parts UK "cranked" lance 450mm with interchangeable nozzles
DIY "Shortie" lance with female QR straight into Kew probe so interchangeable nozzles can be attached straight onto the end of either gun

Foam lance adapted to Kew QR (again, for use on either gun)

15m hose on a reel with Mosmatic swivel at gun end
Original Kranzle 10m hose with 19.5mm QR fittings - can be used standalone if I take the machine elsewhere or as an extension to hose on reel if needed.

DIY mobile platform for PW to allow for easier movement (some large castors attached to a piece of plywood, essentially)

All sits on / hangs off a DIY bracket / hanger / system organiser in the garage.

I'll try and grab some pics later.

Both guns

Lances - top to bottom, underbody, flat jet, Dirtkiller, cranked, shortie Vario, shortie (interchangeable nozzles)

Foam lance adapted for Kew QR

Platform rear view - shock cord secures the machine on top

Platform side view - the grubby MF is by way of insulation to keep the warmth in from the trace heating cable wrapped around the pump head

QR for machine outlet. You can see the camlock inlet and the trace heating cable as well

Original Kranzle hose adapted for 19.5mm QR

My Mosmatic swivel :argie: on the end of the 15m hose on the reel

Adapted hose so I can connect a normal hose to the machine (normally it runs off a 25mm ID hose from the water butts, to a camlock connector on the inlet)

Edit: Wooo, 5000th post! And with apologies to the OP for the massive thread hijack
