Washing Microfibres

Hello all

I was wondering..........

Do you separate your microfibres , drying towels, glass cloths, applicators etc. when washing them or do you just throw them into one wash together?

If you do separate them , what do you put into the wash together?

Would like to know your opinions / methods please

Many thanks in advance :thumb:

I do it this way:

-Drying towels and washing mitts one load
- Interior cloths , including the glass cloths
- QD, Buffing towels and my finer paint towels

I dont seperate them...perhaps I should but I would feel stupid to wash just 1 or 2 drying towels.

But I do pre wash my towels in a bucket with some Britemax Grimeout and water and leave them soaking over night. I brush them to remove as much grime and dirt and waxes and QDs as posible before I throw them into the washing machine.

Drying towels on their own, all others together unless there are really bad ones from engine etc then they go in with the dogs towels😂😂

I hand wash them separately using the cheapest asda liquid wash.
if you machine wash do not mix the glass ones with the others

I wash everything together, never had an issue. ALDI non-Bio and vinegar in the rinse compartment. One load, job done.

I do three loads

Mitts and drying towel
Wheel and sill cloths
Other cloths.

If I clean the glass cloths I do a fourth load!

All in the same load 99% of the time. Mrs would shoot me if i did so many loads lol!

Wash them all together. Only cloths I would separate are the cheaper, dirtier ones.

Drying towels get a fast wash with no detergent

Dirty mucky towels get a pre soak then normal wash

Everything else done together. Normal wash with cheapo non bio liquid
