it truly look like its been put in afterwards. Just try refining again and DONT use any solvent or alcohol prior to inspection. Then wipe done HALF of it and see what you get

Apply with a foam pad, suede cloth (with or without a block), whatever is easiest. i prefer a folded suede. An mf will buff it easily. It cures fast, and is very easy to buff

Not at all no. Just completed a panther black also ( i do a LOT) and blacks are often soft. The greys are "usually" hard as is the white but i still wouldn't rely on that
