don't use AS smart wheels as it says on the container do not use on motorcycles.
but do use a weaker solution of TFR and snow...

Yes i agree that's usually the problem or its the o ring is damaged, My C120 did after a couple of years I pulled it to bits and found the O ring damaged, nilfisk want £7 for a poxy little o ring ...
