Started cleaning up yesterday and finished today. I used mostly autoglym stuff. This time around I did 2 coats of hd wax and was surprised how much better it came out than just one coat.

What kind of horror stories have you heard re hacker plates? It's far from impossible to do it be hand, but it would need to be compacted and built up in shallow layers.

I would also say that why 50 cal looks brilliant its filling also isn't the greatest. Stick with the trusty SRP from Autoglym.

None of the trim on my 75 was faded. It has little bits next to chrome trim and i used it on them. Made it a little darker and lasts well. If your trim is faded i would use a trim restorer not topaz.

Then I use an open ended hose to rinse it off - I keep the drying towel nearby...
