Good stuff coming out of VW in the latest marks.

I jumped to a Passat R line from A4, tech will last me a good fair few years. MPG far better in it as well.

Roof moving when DA'ing

Hi,

Got a golf mk5 and when i go for the roof if preassure gets applied the roof buckles a bit

How do you work with this? Just less pressure and longer time?

Scholl looks to be quite good stuff and probably what i'd buy next.

I have Menzerna at the moment which is good on VW paint and on par with scholl.

I'm with the other guy, DIY would be far more satisfying :) However probably never the same as a complete pro, they'll notice things we simply just don't.

Wouldn't really want to do ceramic myself...

Isn't the point to not just repel water but the dirt/contaminates within it so they don't build on the windscreen?

Fusso stuff looks good, I might give that a bash next time.

Detailed out for the weekend!

Did my old/new passat, I did the big order in the week, weather looked good so got the winter seal in while I can! I was tempted to go with a pro detail and ceramic cover, however got the bug back...

Wash stages - overnight

What would you do here...

1. Jetwashed, wheels and body sprayed with AF Iron Out
2. Snow foamed (Valet pro)
3. Foam off

Was going to be wash>clay>seal>wax next but Got stuff on this afternoon...

Had an A4 before and was unsure if I could go "down" to a Vdub...oh how wrong was I.

Not sealing/waxing body work? Glass seal? C'mon...
