Yea honest to god, in the end the filters turn a horrible sludge color and the only thing going through it is the tap water. Imagine if that was in a little motor.

As you're probably aware, most VAG and BMW paints...

As you're probably aware, most VAG and BMW paints are bl00dy rock hard. It's a mission to fully correct the paint.

Looks fairly tidy for a WIP.

i was dreading it to start with but it's pretty easy. just keep checking and don't be too rough. i found i needed to 3000 grit to finish because i could still see marks from the 2500 but didn't...

i wetsanded the whole thing with 2500 megs...

i wetsanded the whole thing with 2500 megs unigrit then in opposite direction with 3000 grit. then used megs 105. a bit heavy i know but just compounding wasn't doing it enough.
