That looks like a nice pad for applying a wax or sealant but for a QD I would suggest trying a cloth. Should be much easier and quicker i.e. spray-wipe-done

Not tried this pad which seems to be made for all types of polishers. Wool on a rotary is great as, as suggested above, does not heat up the paint as much and cuts quickly

Just as an option. Dallas Detailing suggest using a rinseless wash as a QD, they really like Wolfgang but given most can be diluted to over 100:1, it works out to be very cheap
