Small update in respect to CB being used as a clay lube. It's a GREAT lube! Worth buying for that use alone.

Simple AIO type products like Autoglym SRP work...

Simple AIO type products like Autoglym SRP work wonders in this instance. I've used that to good effect, as well as G3 Paint Renovator on more stubborn sections :thumb:

Whilst you are checking things, check the scuttle drains, if they are blocked, this will cause a wet pollen filter and consequent water ingress :)

Each wax is different, but, a good rule of thumb...

Each wax is different, but, a good rule of thumb is that if you can swipe the waxed surface with your finger, and it comes away leaving the panel clean, it's time to buff :)

The other thing is, more noticeable on white cars, you can get orange spots that look like tree sap or the like. It is the iron particles starting to rust. So there is a tiny aesthetic purpose...

Me, I prefer a Meguiars microfibre mitt. Just works for me better than anything else. Easy to look after, cleans well and lasts.

1) 3rd injector wiring. Essentially overheats the wiring, Vauxhall released modified wiring. Symptoms include hesitation...
