DSW looks good, lasts very very well but I don't know much of its make up as to whether it is solvent based etc...

Already available. Take a look at Carpro hydr02 foam and wash, gyeon bathe +, nanolex reactivating wash. I'm sure there are others but not sure if they would be Si02 based.

I tested it in2d wax through winter against bilt hamber double speed wax and it lasted just as long with no top ups or QD and minimal washing.

It's a very good wax that's pretty nice to use.

To will last longer than a single layer of C2, but you can use C2 on every part of the car, paint, wheels , glass, plastics etc.

I'd recommend a base layer of fk1000, then once a month top up...
