It's a right royal pain in the ass - i've moved a lot of mine across to postimage.org which is free and easy enough to use, but in 5 years time i might have the same issue again.

Yes that black box is the radio aerial amplifier - on your car its probably part number 65206935926, which is superceded by 65206955475.

Sonax BSD, the only one I've tried and absolutely no need to go away from it - great beading, and winter protection. Dries the car quickly in the coldest of weather.

I am correct in recalling you started a while back with a 'grassed ' area where it's now chipped ? If so, then i'm not surprised the grass was poor with thsoe high rise conifers blocking the light.
