I've never been convinced about lacquering the lights, I put 3M clear protection on mine 2 years ago and not only are they still nice & clear but it protects the cover against stone chips as well :)

I don't know you but I'd say this sums up your problem in a nut shell, you're putting extra hours into a job you love but the bosses probably see this as a sign of how they can take advantage of you....

I think that stuff along with Tufferman and Big Dug are effectively the same design so all good, yours is slightly wider but takes less weight but probably academic in most people's garages.

I've just applied C5 to a newly powder coated refurbed wheel prior to fitting back onto the car.

I used Panel wipe first and then applied the C5, wiped it off and left it 24hrs. Checking the wheel...

I went out and had a go at the bonnet this evening and got a bit more aggressive. What I did notice is that yesterday there was a lot of noise around and I couldn't hear the mitt rubbing...
