A clay aggressive enough to remove overspray will probably be aggressive enough to start removing Exo too. As you said, clean it up and reapply and it should be good to go.

Anything that has that horrible flat/matte finish paint or wrap. You spend hours working on a car only for the result to look dull, and as soon as you even look at it, it picks up finger prints.
