do you have a water stop connector fitted to the hose as these can produce problems, if so take it out & replace with a straight through connector then try again.

try disconnecting the battery for approx 30 mins as this causes the ecu to reset to factory settings, i've used this on a number of VW/AUDI engines to good effect, just make sure you have the radio...
