Not a patch on RR or Cayenne. Ugly as sin, now the Q7 has a running mate for the ugly duck award. The interior of a RR has to be seen to believed, I've driven many and they are just gorgeous.

I am fortunate in that the nearest garage to us is a Shell franchise, we literally pass it twice a day and it is less than 5 miles from the house, you would have to go out of your way to go anywhere...

Petrol engines probably benefit from the same. Good hot exhaust gases will help keep the sensors in the exhaust clean, plus make the moisture and any fuel in the engine oil evaporate away.
