I used to use halo on external rubbers and plastic's and can confirm it restores and darkens the appearance and leaves some pretty durable hydrophobic protection too.

For me it would be dark glaze followed by wax and then top up with rapid detailer on the weekly wash. The qdx I probably wouldn't bother with but if you did it would need to go under the wax.
