If the bit is fit for its purpose in the first place, then it doesnt need recalling and changing for something that is up to the job. I cant imagine any car manufacturer...

Different tyres work on different cars, it really isnt as simple as branded being better than no names. In alot of cases you can get comparable wear rates and grip levels from tyres at opposite ends...
