Been out there again tonight and got a couple of the dents bashed out a bit, not gone to mad with making it smooth as I want to keep some of the character even though it’s getting polished.

I would say the paint was harder than Japanese...

I would say the paint was harder than Japanese paint but it’s definitely not as hard as my Passat, the Astra was not to bad with the da but I will use the rotary next time to speed things up along...

I just used to make sure I’d visit the jet wash at the local garage on the way home and give it a good clean off, the only other thing I did was coat it with soft99 fusso coat which worked a treat...

All I would do then is, make sure it’s properly cleaned down really important around the arches and underneath where dirt gets trapped and more importantly make sure it’s 100% dry before you store...
