It's a good job I've got a DA. I assume gtecniq glass polish isn't up for the job? If not I'll grab the pad and polish as suggested earlier.

Any polishing tips? I've only ever corrected paint...

They don't rub off, so I assume on a technical level they are surface scratches, very light, only seen under direct light. Defects caused by years of wiper blade movement across the windshield.

I don't think bar keepers has cerium oxide abrasives. Is there anything stronger than ceri glass to reduce correction time? I have gtecniq glass polish but I think it's more of a cleaner, right?

There are alternative products on the market specifically created to have the cleansing ability of IPA without containing IPA. That in itself makes one question the suitability of IPA.

As long as you don't apply it in the sun, temperature won't be an issue. In the summer, it is important not to allow it to cure too long, 1 minute will suffice.

Damp applicator, thin even coat, allow to cure for 1 minute, buff off. Leave for a week. Wash the car and inspect. If you see patches or a cloudy film forming, you most likely applied DSW too thick....

They recommend that you apply it with the MF towel and continue to wipe until clear. I've seen a few people on Youtube apply it as you would with a traditional wax, with good results.

AG Tar Remover is my recommendation to remove the visible mark. Apply a few drops, leave to dwell for 1 minute and agitate with a clean soft MF towel. Repeat if required.
