You can bring them up nicely with a decent touch up kit, I use paints4u kits.

If the sanding marks are too bad, try flatting them with some 3000, or 4000, then get the Megs ultimate on it after...

A machine polish will remove any marks left...

I use 2000 on mine, then machine them afterwards with a Hex pad and Megs ultimate compound (The same process as I use when wet-sanding scratches out of the paintwork) and it was successful for me.
